Holly was from the second litter of Cavaliers bred by me, and a friend who had purchased a puppy from my first litter gave me the confidence and encouragement to show her - she was the first dog I had ever shown....
Holly was awarded "Baby in Group" at our first show but her sister (from the previous litter) had already outdone her by winning "Baby in Show"...........Of course by now I was well and truly hooked. Holly went on to win many in Group Awards.
Unfortunately due to maternal duties on my part Holly wasn't shown very often and retired from the ring sitting on nearly ninety points.......made up of large challenges. Being a small, compact, tri-colour lady, weighing in at 6.5 kilos the judges either loved her or hated her.! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Holly was heart tested on the 03.04.01 at age 10.5yrs and was MVD free...

Christmas Holly!
(Eyes open in December 1999)

Holly at 9 and a half years of age.

Holly doing what all Cavaliers do best...being a couch potato.
(Aged 10 and a half years)

Sadly, Holly passed away in her sleep in November 2002, two weeks after her twelfth birthday. She is missed by us all, but lives on in her progeny.
Holly is at peace at the Rainbow Bridge...away from the pain of cancer.
Sleep well my little Angel
